3 out of 5 stars Pretty feet & hands---kind of disappointing...   June 16, 2010

After countless physical searches at numerous stores I finally googled this product I used to buy for years. Found it at Amazon (of course) I read one review of someone who said they did not think it was as good as it was a few years ago. I thought why would they change formulas??? Well--I did order a 3-pack and after a long anticipated wait I have to agree---it does seem to NOT get the great results as before!! The formula seems diluted-like....before the results were instantly dramatic---now so-so.

This works well on hands and okay on feet if there are no hardened skin areas. I have used this product for years and years and will continue to do so as long as it is available.

I have used it for years and it has gotten very hard to find in drugstores. I don't get it. It is a great product and smooths out rough hands and feet very nicely!

I had high hopes for this product, I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately it didn't even come close to my expectations. The second ingredient in this is paraffin and as soon as I read that I understood exactly what was happening. When you rub it on and it starts to flake, it isn't dead skin that is flaking, its the paraffin. If you want to test it just pour some on any non porous surface and rub it around. It will flake up the same way it would seeming like dead skin and then leave a waxy coating once it dries. This fools you into thinking that it exfoliated your skin and made it feel super soft. In reality you would get better results from a paraffin bath and those aren't all that great either. It doesn't even moisturize your feet, that's why it suggests following with a moisturizer.

If you want a really good foot exfoliating cream that you can use outside of the shower without scrubbing try bliss foot patrol or sock salve and some spa socks. Those are amazing and really make your feet soft, smooth and beautiful.

5 out of 5 stars Rough, dry skin just rolls away...   January 9, 2010

I bought this months ago. Like it a lot. I use it on my feet periodically right after I get out of the shower. I think the little bit of moisture from the shower makes this product more effective. The dry dead skin rolls right off. I use it on my elbows as well to keep the dry skin to a minimum. I know some people use it on their faces as well, however, my face is already soft, and it's also extremely sensitive. So I think this would just make my face break out. I only use it on problem areas like my feet and elbows. Good for the hands too, since I wash my hands a lot, my hands dry out. Makes the dead skin roll off instantly.
